Last updated: 10 September 2026

Maltalents respects your privacy and handles personal data carefully. This privacy statement explains which personal data we may process, why we process it and what rights you have.

1. Who is responsible for your data?

Maltalents is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this statement. You can contact us at info@maltalents.com or +31(0)683858737.

2. Which personal data do we process?

Depending on how you contact or work with us, we may process data such as:

  • name and contact details;
  • e-mail address and telephone number;
  • CV, work experience, education and professional profile;
  • information about career wishes, availability and ambitions;
  • information you provide in messages, applications or conversations;
  • company and contact details of clients and business relations.

Please do not send sensitive personal data, such as medical information, a citizen service number (BSN), passport copies or other special categories of personal data unless this is specifically necessary and legally permitted.

3. Why do we process personal data?

We may use personal data to:

  • respond to questions and contact requests;
  • assess candidates for current or future vacancies;
  • introduce candidates to potential employers, where appropriate;
  • provide recruitment and related services;
  • maintain contact with clients and business relations;
  • comply with legal and administrative obligations.

4. Legal basis

We process personal data only when there is a lawful basis to do so. Depending on the situation, this may be because processing is necessary to take steps at your request, to perform an agreement, because we have a legitimate business interest, because the law requires it, or because you have given consent.

5. Sharing data with others

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with service providers that help us operate our business, such as hosting or e-mail providers. Candidate information is only shared with prospective employers when this is appropriate for the recruitment process and in accordance with applicable privacy rules.

6. Retention

We do not keep personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Recruitment information that is no longer needed will be deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period. Where we rely on consent for longer retention, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

7. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access, alteration or misuse.

8. Your privacy rights

You may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and in certain cases receive your data in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

You can send a privacy request to info@maltalents.com. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity.

9. Cookies and website statistics

The current Maltalents website does not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies and does not use analytics tools that create visitor profiles. If this changes, this privacy statement and, where required, the cookie information will be updated.

10. Contact form and e-mail

The contact form on this website prepares an e-mail in your own e-mail program. The website itself does not store the form contents in a database. Once you send the e-mail, the information is processed through the relevant e-mail services and by Maltalents in order to respond to your message.

11. Changes

We may update this privacy statement when our services, systems or legal obligations change. The most recent version will always be published on this page.

12. Questions or complaints

If you have a question about privacy, please contact us first at info@maltalents.com. You also have the right to submit a complaint to the competent data protection authority.
